Description
And when the daylight comes I'll have to goBut tonight I'm gonna hold you so close
Cause in the daylight we'll be on our own
But tonight I need to hold you so close
~ Daylight by Maroon 5

This was inspired by the game, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red and the song previously mentioned.
*Spoilers Ahead*
While I was playing the game, at the end, I really thought that I was going to see my pokemon persona as a human and I was honestly really eager to see her. Of course, you don't and it turns out your pokemon comes back. However, I always had this idea of what if the pokemon really did go back to the human world? After a while I developed this sad story about how the human would be home, but she'd be without her memories of the pokemon world while her partner would be in his world however he'd still remember her.
I'm planning on writing out a comic with several parts about this story. I'll probably get it done over Summer. This is part of the story, actually.
The comic will combine both Mystery Dungeon Red and Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and tell Red's (torchic) and Blue's (mudkip) story.
I named them Red and Blue because I really couldn't think of anything better on the spot.

Well, in fact the "correct choice" would be returning home. I meant, let's suppose you (or other, or me, or whoever) become a pokemon and save the world. Even thought you are having lots of fun in the pokemon world with your friends, your family, old friends, projects... will be still in the human world.
So the most "mature choice" will be returning home. I think.
Awesome work, by the way, I love the tear effect.

I competely thought that, too. I was actually surprised when I returned as a pokemon (of course it's a happy ending since this is the only world you know but seriously - you still left behind your "real" world.) I think they should have at least came up with a human world story or something to tell us what happened to the pokemon's old life. But, oh, well.
Thank you. I wad thinking of the show's tear effect when I did it. It's just so sparkly, you know? I love it.

That's pretty true. But, in fact, if we think about it, this ending is justified. Why? Because what you already said and because the game must keep going. Did you play the next game? I meant, explorers of shadows, sky, time? I don't want to spoil you the end.
Well, i love it too. Do you know any way to do it in a traditional (non digital) way?

Well, of course for the game, but in reality it's just selfish. And yes, I have played the next game and that is actually how the comic got started. It'll be a combination of both games, so yes, I know the ending. I thought the second one was much more interesting, I really loved it. Plus, there was nothing left behind since everything was destroyed. However, it did disturb me to realize that Dusknoir and your partner from the future both are gone forever. It was unsettling for me.
Well, I actually do something different traditionally. But, I think if I tried hard enough, I could probably do that effect traditionally. What I do is, color everything else first, tears last. Then when I get the basic colors done, I lightly shade under the eyes with a grey or black color pencil - very lightly. I do this because I notice when people cry, their eyes get kind of dark beneath them. Anyway, after that, I take a white color pencil and I draw half circles near the outer corner of the eyes and draw light, squiggly lines (not really squiggly, but you know, just slightly squiggly lines) around the lower half of the eyes. After that I lightly draw lines downward from those lines, not completely straight but lines that fit the curve of the crying person's/animal's/etc. cheeks. I usually would draw over the lines with blue, however to get that sparkly effect, I think you could try getting it by going over the lines again in white and then dotting random lines with white, tiny dots that stand out more than the actually tear lines. That's what I did, just threw in random dots - it really makes it look sparkly.
The falling tears, I just lightly draw a small circle, shade it in super lightly and then make hard white shiny spots that curve with the circle-ish tear. Another thing - I make the tears run down people's/animal's/etc. chins and then make it seem like the tears are dripping. You can probably figure out the drip effect just by looking at a facet reference.

I think it so.
Okay, i think i get it. So, to sum up: dark eyes, white lines, blue dots for sparkly effects and the dipping effects. Many thanks, i will try it!

Well, that sounds about right. You can probably find tutorials, too, if you don't like how I do it~
And you're welcome~
