Description
This should have been a quick profile test for Ysabel, but I've been really sick the past few days and keep falling asleep, so it got to render for more than 13 hours!Story Bits & Pieces: After her traumatic beginning the woman now known as Ysabel couldn't remember her own name. She made ones up for herself based on what she felt or thought suited her, but since she was alone for a long time there was no one to share them with. Eventually she came into contact with other people, but by that point she'd become almost feral, like Tarzan or Mowgli, and watched from a distance rather than introduce herself to them. Sometimes she helped them. They called her "Jaguar Girl" because she seemed to share a kinship with the great cats and acted more like them at times than a human. It was a charismatic young shaman who finally captivated the immortal Jaguar Girl and drew her from the wild. He believed her to be an avatar of his gods and named her, "Blood Moon," a name she would carry in one form or another for centuries.

Lovely profile, which also shows the character's will and strength. I also have to admire all the thought and devotion which went into creating a backstory for Ysabel!

Ysabel grew almost out of necessity while developing Layla. There were all these interesting situations and concepts that kept popping up, but didn't suit Layla at all. Even with amnesia, she would not do "that" or say "that" or allow "that" to happen - whatever "that" might be. She would never start from "there," so she couldn't even get to "there." So I started filing all those ideas off into a "dark mirror" character. But I didn't want this mirror girl to be all, "Mwahaha! Eeevil!" Just... different.

Yes... just like in real life nothing and nobody is black and white... Different is exactly the word...

Glad you like it.
That's the Disney version, however. I stopped before it turned sideways and got Grimm...
