Description
Keaira Genevera, a benevolent warrior of light who protects the young and strives to become a paladin. She had traveled far distances, adventured through dungeons, and slayed creatures of evil. Whenever she would return to the inn to rest, she would dream about her daughter who is studying abroad at an academy for red mages. Her current status is unknown. She was conceived during my trial in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN.Lucia Liavon, a strong-willed, determined archer who seeks to restore balance in the world. In her crusade, she fights off demonic presences and seals up mystical rifts that threaten our existence. She is the wife to Jonas Liavon and mother of twin daughters. At the time of the story Tempest Misia, she had already passed away due to reasons yet unexplained. She would still be an influence to the family. She was first conceived in Dragon Age: Inquisition and then carried onto Tree of Savior.
Aeryn Runia, a sweet and caring woman who lived in solitude ever since her husband died. In her depression, she discovered that she was pregnant with a baby boy. With the news, she felt joy and hope for the future. However, she suffered nightmares every night she slept. After seeing multiple doctors and specialists to learn of the cause, she learned that the child had no soul, unsure whether it was taken away or never had one to begin with. It was a supernatural crisis that could not be explained and there was no cure for it. She strove to live on as she suffered through the night and prayed at her bedside for a miracle everyday. At the time of birth, when hope was at its dimmest, she envisioned a pair of sparks supporting her with a powerful warmth. The baby was miraculously born with not one but two souls. As time passed, the boy grew to be as sweet and caring as his mother. He loved the sandwiches she made for him and enjoyed her piano playing. They lived a happy life together. Unfortunately, it was not meant to last. At the age of 15, a fire erupted in their home, burning everything causing the house to collapse fairly quickly. She was trapped inside. The boy grasped at her hands as he tried to save her. Sadly, it was too late. "Live on," she said to her son. With her dying wish, he let go and barely managed to escape before the house collapsed over him. The firefighters arrived to put out the flames before it got any worse and took the boy in. Ever since then, he lived at an orphanage but isolated from everybody else. Occasionally, he would have nightmares about fire and wandering through foggy streets in the rain. His current status is unknown.

Wow, everyone has such a good sense of depth and location, especially with the environment. It's really difficult for me to arrange characters in a way that doesn't look like they're all up against the 'fourth wall' on the same plane. Even when I turn them 3/4ths or so, I still have a hard time making them look like they have depth, and more like they're just a piece of paper really. So yeah, definitely looks good from where I'm coming from.

i mostly improvised each of their placement. made multiple rearrangements to find a good balance in the overall picture. i started with Keaira, then went ahead and added Aeryn and lastly Lucia. it was not exactly meant to be a pic of 3. just so happen to end up this way.

I appreciate you're able to create new OCs with backstories just from your MMO characters. I want that kind of imagination and inspiration.

Whenever I create a character in a game, I tend to spend a really long time customizing and coming up with a name. This is kinda like the same when I come up with new characters through drawing. During this process, I think of what they could be in story-wise, who they could be related to, etc. There are times I put one of my already existing OCs into a game and see how the game can expand on the character.

I admit it's difficult for me to create new OCs I don't feel invested or immersed in - hence my bad naming dilemma. When I play a MMO I focus on its presentation and see how it appeals to me. It's good to see you keep your imagination free. I used to create backstories for my characters back when I played WoW, which makes sense as I wasted like 4 years of my life in that game; my first MMORPG.
