I think 5 became the iconic appearance for Chris. The new look shows Chris who is broken at first. Drinking and smoking, yet something pulls him back in.

Well, I duno, haha, 2 b honest, when RE5 1st came out, I was like "WTF" with Chris?!!! Coz I still remember he was slim & young with a "clean" face... Haha! Anyway, after I played the whole RE5 game, I was totally in love with him... a guy that doesn't exist on earth! lol... So I think have 2 see how the games comes out, but I can tell you, still in love with him altho he's older! hahaha...

well think about it. It's been a few years. the RE6 version looks older and more worn by his experiences simply because he IS.
And I managed to see the opening cut scene of this and SDCC......they find him drunk in a bar, (big surprise there huh?)

Haha, I DO agreed with you, coz few of my game friends already said they don't like the new Chris. But for me, like u said, it's been few yrs... Altho he looks aged & bit "chubby", but I do think the artist did make him looks more mature, professional & experienced, especially with the new jar head cut and the uniform. More convincible as a squard team leader that every BSAA members wants him back! No matter what, I like him always!
Yeah, for the story, I do feel surprise about it, so looking forward 4 RE6 finally comes out! I'm also thinking, will there b an extra game in it like the "Lost in Nitemare" that talk back how he lost his whole team in previous mission and makes him so frustrated...but mabe this already included the RE6 main story... (^V^)

Haha, I saw some news about the making of RE6, an the artist is the same guy who draw Chris in RE5, so for me, Chris juz a bit aged in RE6, but still love "them' both! (^v^) Glad you like it too!
