I've had this idea quite a long time, longer than I've been on dA.I had fun doing this. A lot of fun. Yey for toturing that purple 'mote!
If someone wants to see the pixeled Bug without the emote, tell me and I'll add it to scraps.
How to play Punch Bug.
Spot a [link] (Volkswagon Beetle.)
Punch someone (LIGHTLY) and say
"(color) punch bug(gy)."
Then say
"No punch back."
If the player that punched you did not say "No punch back", you have the right to punch them back.
Other varieties of sayings include
"Slug Bug."
Padiddle (touch roof of the car)
Yellow cars
Pinch, punch ect.
And that's all I know.
Optional
You can add bonus punches such as
[link] (Old fashioned)
Certain color
Convertable
ect.
The stuff that you can't do
Punch someone back if they said "No punch back."
Punch someone if there is no Voltswagon Bug.
Add bonuses that aren't there.
(Optional) Don't say/Say the wrong color
Pentalties are usually a punch

Here where i live, the variation is: "YELLOW CAR!!!!!" and then you punch/slap the other person, but you don't have to say "no punch back" when you punch someone, you are automatically safe for punching-backs. Also, two people can't yell "YELLOW CAR!!!" at the same car.

punch bug? I'e never heard that. We always said slug bug. For example (caution, story time!!!!) on the last day of my digital art class, we were supposed to find a picte of a car online then sketch it onto some scrap paper. I went on google, and searched 'slug bug' (duh). I chose one that looked like pikachu. I showed to the guys sitting next to me, then the guy n my ight punched me ansaid 'slug bug yellow'. I punched him back and said 'slug bug PIKACHU'. he got OWNED XD

I play this game, but I've got a special rule. If you see a VW dealership you only get one punch, and you can say "Dealership!" or "VW dealer!" If you do that, none of the bugs in, entering, or leaving the dealership count, but the person you punched owes you a soda at the next stop. (Or the driver, if the punchee hasn't any money.)

The way we play here is we go "Punch buggy (color)!" The person we punch isn't allowed to punch us back. They have to punch someone else who hasn't punched them.
I'm 23 years old and I still play this with my little cousins. lol!

Hmm, the version my friends and I play is you say; "________punch buggy! No returns/reflect backs" if you just say; "__________punch buggy no returns!" you can say; "reflect back!" and punch them XD

My mom, brother and I have some simple rules on this game.
Slug Bug (color) (descriptive add on like, convertable) = Older Bug.
Slub Bug New (color) (descriptive add on like, convertable) = New Bug
Always followed by a No Returns.
And if you can prove it's the same bug, it doesn't count.

For my family it was "*color* PunchBuggy! No punchbacks! No erasies! Chinatown!"
If you said "No punchbacks" but not "No erasies" than the person who punched you can be punched if you say "ERASE!"
I'm not sure what Chinatown has to do with it. Also, only one punch is allowed to each car (per person) So if my little brother saw a red one, he could punch everybody once- And i can punch everybody except for him, my little sister can punch everybody except me.
