Once upon a time, there was a lowly high-school sophomore who signed up onto dA as "wisp2007" and slapped several MS Paint drawings of a creepy little bug-eyed thing he dared to call a "cat".

Eventually he wised up and started putting the faintest hint of actual effort into his drawings, which- being horrid color pencil scans- were only a slight step up above 72 dpi mouse doodles. Then he got into fanart, and learned how to at least design with some amount of sense. The bug-eyed demon evolved into something one could actually call a "cat", whether one recognized the fanart base or not. New techniques were experimented with, new software was acquired, new tricks were practiced.

He wasn't even sure how long he was going to be on site; perhaps two years, maybe three.

Now it's year thirteen.
What happens now? ... Who knows...
