Description
Full thing.This is how I usually do speedpaints and things that don't have much planning, as you'll notice I make things up as I go along.
IT'S NOT VERY USEFUL, SORRY. sDFJSDFsdf
But really beyond some simple steps and very few layers, there is no 'trick' to painting the way I do.. You just.. take a brush and go at it. ;7;
Some notes:
In this the background was always a separate layer. I have a layer for the neat sketch, and one for the dragon's colours. All of the colours - shading, base, highlights, are all on one layer. The sketch was merged about halfway and painted into the dragon
UH
I THINK THAT'S ABOUT IT?
THANKS
Done on SAI.

Cool walkthrough.
Hmm I like the tail in the second picture more because for some reason it emphasizes the spiral a lot more. Either that our make the tail wider as if it's coming to you in the final image.
Awesome work though

Fuck yeah you did it. Amazing Thanks!
May I also ask... Do you draw directly on the lines or on another layer? Also what is the brush you use, which softness or opacity, etc? o-o Do you often chante it or never?

Ahm, I paint underneath the sketch layer. Then I merge them and paint together
;u; I don't have any brush settings I change it arbitrarily all the time so I don't even know what my settings are. I use pretty much any tool that works.
