I had this for a long time, but I never realized GIMP could animate until recently.Um, there isn't much to say about how I work.
I don't like messing with layers too much, I usually just make a few for sketches and base colours and then paint right on, because it's just.. easier that way.
As you can see, lots of thing change throughout, very arbitrarily sometimes. Especially that head. eAe Gave me so much trouble.
I don't know exact time but this took me a lot of hours, I think.
It's 100% painted in SAI, animated on GIMP rather crudely. eue

i think one thing i really like about digital painting is how much a drawing changes throughout its process ;w; AHHHH the lighting in this piece is really different it's interesting to see how you went through with it *A*!!

me i use linework and when im done making a lined black and white picture i add color and shadings
