Top row left to right, Katara and Zuko are mommy and daddy. In Katara's arms is their youngest son Tenu, a waterbender.
Okay on bottom row, left to right. Rina, second born, waterbender. Maya is seated next to her, third born, firebender. Next to her is the heir and first born Lee, a firebender.

Update: Ok so I got bored and decided I really hated Katara's old face.
She just didn't look grown up enough, so I thinned her face, made her eyes smaller, lowered the eyebrows and added lipstick for more defined lips. Also added the huge collar around Katara's neck because her chest just looked way too empty. Added some definition to her necklace and changed her hair to make it more realistic. Other little changes include some glare on gold parts and thinned up Zuko's hand because it was too fat.Also added beads in Lee's hair, just because its cute. I won't take credit for the awesome idea though, because thought of it first.
Edit 2: Added a necklace for Rina and updated the background to make it lighter and pretty.

Why is it that all Zutara family photos are based off the picture in "The Beach"

Not all Zutara family pictures are based of the one form the "beach". This one just happens to be so. I chose it mostly because I was working more with photo manipulation at this point, but also because it is supposed to represent traditions continuing. Not all traditions in the Fire Nation were bad. I like to think the family photo is one of those good traditions.

I know. I just meant that most FORMAL Zutara family pics are like that. Your work is good, Im just not sure if you blended the colors of blue and red into the outfit as well as you could

The colors were the ones used from the previous palets of the other photos I worked on in that medium. In the case of the blues they were taken from Sokka and Katara's pictures and the reds were from Zuko's picture mostly as well as ones used in the Zutara picture before this. So the blues and reds were meant to show contrast because it is a combining of the two worlds, the Fire Nation and Water Tribe. However, I had some difficulty using defined red and blues without the characters blending into each other. So hence some of the darker and lighter shades.

Ah yes but the way you have shown them makes it seem that the two worlds are not a peace. If you incorporate the colors differently and in shades that work together, it would look a lot better. Like instead of putting both red and blue in equal amount on one kid, make one color the main color and use the other for minor things, like lining and accessories

Originally Katara's face looked to young.o SO I'm glad I changed it to make her more mature. i think it looks better this way and every now and then I'll add more details...like maybe a background. One day.

This is really cute, though I'm not much of a Zutara fan. I also like how the colors of their children's outfits are a mix of both their parents' elements.

Yup Rina is a sweetheart, the only thing different from her and Katara is Rina has straight hair. The story i was working on after this involves their kids when they are like 10-16. And she turns out to be such a proper princess who finds love in unusual places....
