But you get the idea, at 20 you're old enough to do and have your own business, you're not a child anymore. Surely you already had little temp jobs and whatnot, right?
Get your own laptop or a smartphone with your own money (with a little summer job, a sidejob or something). You need your own privacy I imagine!
(my parents were from an older generation enough, they don't understand a thing about computers..)

I'd say don't worry about your parents finding the comic. What I do is I have a long set of files on my comuputer since my parents need to borrow it for work at times when they are on location (they are photographers). SO what i do is I hide it about 6 or 7 files in, one inside the other (or the Russian Doll idea). Of course I am in college and I'm an artist, so I have dozens of files, so I need multiple files to help organize myself. If you just have one file after another, it'll be pretty easy for somebody to find it.

I don't really have the age to have "parents on my back" anymore. Plus I doubt they know how to use a computer, so...
You might want to copy-paste that to the other person!
Hiding files inside files? That's creative! I remember back in older windows you couldn't get the file location names too long...
