Headcanon: The reason Jaz is such a protective older sister is because when they were kids, Jaz pretty much raised Danny. Not that their parents were “negligent” or anything that extreme, but they were very absorbed in their research. Sometimes they would be down in their lab for days at a time. So Jaz would make sure he ate, dressed, and had someone to play with/watch him. And that’s also who she gives her parent’s such a hard time about their ghost hunting. She thinks they should be paying more attention to Danny. She is worried their absence and all this talk of ghosts will have a negative effect on him. It’s also the reason she treats him like a little kid, even when he’s a teenager.
I love that in the series they didn't make Jaz into the stereotypical mean/bullying older sibling trope.
Do you ever go back and see your old art and think “man that was so cool! I should try that again” but when you do it is a straight up disaster? Well I found an old pixel-y brush I used to love, but for the life of me I can’t remember how it worked. I don’t know if I like the way this came out… oh well
