Just a work in progress. I tried to do a greyscale but it failed. I can't change the colours properly. I don't know if I'll finish this, hence why I'm uploading it now.Related content

Does it have layer modes? What I often do in PS is duplicate the greyscale layer, and fill it with a solid color that's close to what I want the horse to be. Then put that under the greyscale, lock it, and switch the greyscale layer's mode to 'overlay.' Then I color more on the colored layer, like grey on the muzzle, etc. Then if I really need to, I can merge those layers and do some modifications with hue/saturation/contrast, etc.
