Wow I finally finish a LeiThe sketch in that sea of LeiThe sketches that I did but never continue working on : v
I'm kinda lazy for cel shading so I thought painting would be better and more fun : v I wasn't wrong but the pain it gives me makes me feel like a protagonist going through their character development already. Had lots of suffering but also eyegasm : v
Long story short, Leigh was found injured and unconscious by little prince Lae who soon befriended her after Leigh woke up. She visited him once in awhile when she's not on duty. One day, along with Lae, Leigh also saw another human being, who ended up to be the father of Lae and the king of the kingdom. Despite her friendliness toward Lae, Leigh exhibited distrust toward Theseus while the man harbored an attraction toward her.
Over time, Leigh showed up less and less and Theseus eventually grew impatient. Wanting the sea maiden to be his, Theseus paid the Witch a visit, in wish of finding a mean to keep Leigh by his side. The Witch simply handed him a potion bottle in trade of the first creature who will be born on Winter Solstice a year from now. The wise king, whose mind is now engulfed with desires, forgot the rumor about the Witch's maliciousness and took the potion.
Little do they know Caitlin, aka the Witch, meant no creature but Leigh's and Theseus' first born, Noelle : v
