Description
Blacksnow and Alderfang's son Maplekit; the only child from their first litter.
In Alder's clan, having one kit in a litter is considered a bad omen; and Maplekit chose to be born on the coldest night in the harshest Leafbare.
He managed to survive through it all in spite of the odds, and was absolutely spoiled by his parents as a kitten. Even as an apprentice, Alderfang would absolutely not shut up bragging of him during a gathering to all of his friends outside of his clan (He cried during his sons warrior ceremony, even more so once he heard his baby boy was being considered for deputy)
After Maplekit, they end up having another litter together; all the while supporting Maple with his achievements and giving him parental advice.
