Personality: There are two very distinct sides to Alexei. First there is the persona, the image which he presents to the eyes of the world. He is outgoing, charming, ignorant and boisterous. He will buy a restaurant to eat lunch there with a band of devout could-be-wives. He is a charmer, a breaker of hearts, a true bachelor, but whenever approached with questions about his company he appears to simply not have a clue, wrapping it up to “I guess people I pay are doing good job, vell done me!” in that very special Siberian accent of his.
However, behind the scenes, Alexei knows very well what his company is up to. He is calculating and cold, never afraid to do whatever it takes to ensure that his company will prosper. Intelligent and innovative, he will find the loopholes, he will exploit, he will blackmail and he will break the law.
History: Alexei was raised to be an heir and nothing more. He was home-schooled in every subject that would aid him in becoming a successful business owner. However, the cold and sterile environment, devoid of any real love and attention, didn’t do much for Alexei’s mental state. He became reclusive at a young age and could be found plucking the legs or wings off bugs, or burning them with a magnifying glass. He also stole food, sliced furniture with a knife and other mischeif. Still, his caretakers often had a difficult time disciplining him for the things he did, because once approached, he seemed so innocent and dumbfounded, as though he had no idea why they were upset with him, or what he’d done wrong. Even at five years old he was excellent at sweet-talking his way out of things.
Until his father came home. A stern, strict wolf, Albert Volkov often took discipline into his own hands - not only for his son, but but the weak caretakers of said son as well. He enjoyed using his belt or walking stick for this discipline. Caretakers first, then the culprit, his son. He’d hold speeches while he whipped the belt at the child, speaking of future glory and wealth beyond anyone’s wildest dreams, and if it was to be his one day, he had to endure.
Endure, and prosper. His fathers’ favourite phrase.
To say that his upbringing shaped him is the understatement of the year. You can trust Alexei about as far as you can throw him. He’s a cold, cruel wolf, and while there might be something good in him somewhere, it is on complete lockdown.
