Description
Commission for MoonbeamZodiacMoonbeam wanted someone to draw her snake, so I did. I must say, I quite enjoyed that.
Since there wasn't any hair to make details on, I made the details by giving it shiny scales where light hits it and where the shadow is the darkest.
I will send the drawing without the watermark to the commissioner.

Such a beautiful artwork! I really like how you compromised into adding detail somewhere else other than fur. The nice soft texture of the snake gives me a new fondness for the amazing creepy noddles of nature. The small areas of pink really stand out! Keep up the good work!

I really like drawing stuff like hair, because it has a lot of detail, but because snakes don't have any, I sat for half of hour, drawing every shiny scale I could. I love adding these little details..
I also made sure that everything except for the eyes, flower and the tongue is either brown or creamy, just because I wanted people to emphasize the face. I even had to tweak the color of the eyes to fit the flower, but I think it was a good choice.
