For a LONG time, I wanted to draw something for EStories because of how incredible their comics are! (Go and read them if you haven't already!)
This is their character from a story "Seeds of Darkness", Silverlay. If you say "She looks like a Twilight re-color!!1!", then yes, you're right. But to understand it, you'd need to read the story.
I wanted to work her cutie mark design into the picture without making it an actual cutie mark, so... I made it more symbolic ^^
And if you want me to explain "Even in the darkest night there's always a light" then... I picture it as "Even when it seems that there's no way out, there is still hope". I think it fits the story and Silverlay herself really well.... But what do I, a small, meek artist know?
