Description
Just a fun AT for XDSince they both happen to be tank commanders, this is how we imagined it to happen if they were to meet each other.
Also I made Rommel significantly shorter than Peiper, since he's only 171cm, compared to his 180cm counterpart.
The little birds are there for fun :3

Peiper really had to bring up the Maginot Line thing, didn't he? XD

Since it's pretty much a killer blow in Rommel's case, why not? XD

If Rommel is often compared to a fennec fox, I wonder what animal is Peiper compared to XD

Peiper really do sounds like a bird, I'm imagining him to be a canary XD

Since fennec foxes are known to be pretty fierce when they're yapping, I can imagine Rommel getting the upper hand at first, then again canaries too can get pretty fierce and will start poking Rommel with his beak XD

I wonder how the fennec fox will react when the canary bird starts attacking him with his beak throughout the incident XD

He would probably yelp in surprise, before attempting to shake the bird off by jumping and shaking his ears and tail XD Not long afterwards, an anteater (Himmler) would come along and break the two before giving them a lecture (much to the fennel fox's embarassment, since he's supposed to be the more matured and experienced one XD)

I can already imagine the canary bird standing on a tree branch and giving the evil eye towards the fennec fox after the anteater leaves the scene after the lecture XD

It must have been one of their most embarrassing days ever XD Also, I found it to be pretty cute if we were to see a fennec fox commanding a tank squadron, as well as the canary bird commanding his own tank squadron, since they're both pretty small in size and no one would expect such animals to be in charge of units like that XD

It's funny how within the fennec fox's squadron, nearly all of the troops are German Shepherds and then there's only one cat in the group, which makes him stand out a lot XD

I'm suddenly thinking, during the first time the cat met the German Shepherd, was he surprised to note that he's pretty quiet and timid as one, as compared to the others?

The cat would have definitely been surprised by the German Shepherd's quiet and timid nature since German Shepherds are usually not so timid and they tend to bark loudly according to his past experiences with them. Though, since the cat happens to be shy as well, he also felt a little relieved that he wasn't the only one, which later sparked a new friendship.

I bet after the German Shepherd befriended the cat, he felt more.encouraged and less alone among the others, as there was someone similar to his personality as well.

Did the German Shepherd find it odd when the cat started feeling attracted to the fennec fox, knowing that cats are felines while foxes are in the canine group?

A little at first, but then again he wouldn't stop the cat from following his feelings, since love has no boundaries.

How did the fennec fox react when the cat confessed to him?

wizarddoc205 In reply to Happy-Masked-Mystery [2017-03-03 03:30:29 +0000 UTC]
He felt really flattered at first, since he thought it was just infatuation, but then became a little conflicted when he realized his love for him is sincere.

When the cat finds out about the fennec fox's conflicted state, he decides to give him more space and wait patiently until things are sorted out before making any further moves to initiate a relationship.

I'm suddenly thinking, by the time the fox and cat got together, would the cat constantly play with the fox's large ears, especially if he is sleeping on his side? XD
π: 0 β©: 1
Happy-Masked-Mystery In reply to wizarddoc205 [2017-03-03 05:43:32 +0000 UTC]
I can already imagine the cat trying to grab the fox's large ears with his paws and maybe nibble a bit on them when he's feeling extra playful. How would the fox react when he notices that the cat was playing with his ears the entire time he was sleeping? XD
π: 0 β©: 1
wizarddoc205 In reply to Happy-Masked-Mystery [2017-03-03 06:34:29 +0000 UTC]
He would have been amused that he found it entertaining to play with his ears, I bet sometimes the fox would play with the cat's tail in return whenever he's feeling playful XD

Why am I suddenly imagining the cat's fur standing on edge when he spotted the pitbull with Golden Retriever troops approaching and resorted to hiding his fennec fox commander under a thick blanket? XD

wizarddoc205 In reply to Happy-Masked-Mystery [2017-03-03 17:00:30 +0000 UTC]
Knowing dogs and their keen sense of smell, he might have caught their familiar scent, yet at the same time not able to find them under the blanket XD I'm suddenly imagining the German Shepherd to suddenly jump in the scene (not knowing where his bravery come from) and try to make the Pitbull leave them alone. How would the cat react to this unusual front shown by him?
π: 0 β©: 1
Happy-Masked-Mystery In reply to wizarddoc205 [2017-03-04 03:14:09 +0000 UTC]
Since the cat has known the German Shepherd to have a timid nature, he would definitely be overwhelmed when the German Shepherd has suddenly decided to confront the Pitbull because he has never seen that side of him before.

wizarddoc205 In reply to Happy-Masked-Mystery [2017-03-04 03:46:04 +0000 UTC]
I bet after confronting the Pitbull, the German Shepherd would suddenly realize his unusual behavior, and his legs would start shaking a little while still situated in between his commander and the Pitbull, since he actually didn't want to be there in the first place XD

Happy-Masked-Mystery In reply to wizarddoc205 [2017-03-04 05:07:53 +0000 UTC]
I am pretty sure that after the encounter, the cat will comfort his German Shepherd companion and even thank him for defending him and his commander from a potential threat

wizarddoc205 In reply to Happy-Masked-Mystery [2017-03-04 08:03:55 +0000 UTC]
The German Shepherd was pretty much near a panic break down when he noticed the situation he was in, so he would definitely appreciate the cat's comfort, though he was really lucky that he wasn't shot there when he was facing the pitbull and acting all defensive against him.Β
