It's traditionally done. I used ink, acrylic, and a little colored pencil.

I saw this in Art of Disney at Epcot today! Absolutely loved it and made a note of the artist in the hopes I could find out more about it online, so glad I found your DA. I love images like this of something iconic that you might not recognize at first, it's a lot more interesting than just a straight painting of exactly what the bride looks like on the attraction.
