I simply cannot pull myself away from this. I love the movement and the untold story. I love how the lady in black seems to knowingly own the ballroom. She exudes confidence, and her fire ignites the rest of the unseen ballroom, leaving everyone else in shadows. This makes the lady in blue stand out even more; the sole ray of innocence in the scene. I would ?over to know your own thought processes behind this painting, but I am thankful enough that you share your masterworks with us.
