My Star Wars collection includes a bunch of lines but POTF, POTF2, Power of the Jedi, Shadows of the Empire which I like to bundle as one big line, but those are my favorites, I know they are the least liked lines for many SW toy fans because POTF especially were so muscular looking, but to me that was the charm.

I have come to the conclusion that they are the best action figure line that I own.
This is a really under appreciated awesome toy line.

People hate on them because of the steroid look and lack of articulation but when it comes down to it that's what I personally like about them.
Honestly I wish they were more muscular!

The Vader with removable helmet and hand is considered one of the best Vaders from the line.
A very good Vader figure period!
I prefer the more basic "original" POTF steroid version but I got to admit that this version is awesome!

I like how his left hand is doing the force choke.
His right hand is replaced with a giant claw from one of the newer figures, Force Awakens or whatever.
I was very surprised and delighted that it was compatible!

I gave the Emperor force lightning effect by using translucent purple effect piece from what I think was the WWE Undertaker zombie figure.
For the force lightning I like translucent purple for the Emperor than translucent blue.

This is what I also like about POTF, many of the figures came with an extra weapon, even the dudes that didn't come with weapons in the original vintage Kenner line, they must have thought we were gonna lose weapons so give them extras, here is an extra mega large gun, pass it around! Anybody need a space gun?
Look at Grand Moff Tarkin sporting his guns ready to go out in a blaze of glory!
Sure it doesn't fit the character but you can always pass it on to other figures, even ones from other toy lines.
And I think these bonus weapons are much better than the spring missile firing weapons that some GI Joe figures came with.

The Space wolfman (that is what he is!) came with the over the top vibroblade which is one of the coolest weapons to collect from POTF.
