You did a really good job of converting the design to real life! It looks fantastic! Are those actual metal plates, or is it some kind of other material? Any ideas what kind of fur you will use for the final part?

Actual steel for my gauntlets, greaves, and spaulders. Thinking coyote if I can find it (or if I kill the local pest) or possibly rabbit. I do have some sheepskin that I could use, but I'd prefer not to.

Oh cool! Do you hunt with a rifle or a bow? How much did the steel cost?

I have a bow, but this thing ate my cat and I've still got beef with it. In the suburbs walking through the streets with a rifle is frowned upon. The spaulders and greaves cost about 100 USD each set, the gauntlets I made from scratch with scrap steel I scrounged for free.
