Description

A Droid vehicle developed by Baktoid Armor Workshop, these turtle-like vehicles were made for rapid deployment of troops into various areas. Not only could they hold up to 250 B1 Battle Droids, but they had a front-mounted blaster and a back-mounted aerial cannon to prevent enemy attack from behind. Deployed late in the Clone Wars, they first appeared during the Battle of Dor Nameth, after which they were used on various other planets, including at the Battle of Coruscant, where several were deployed throughout major points throughout the planet-wide city. After the Clone Wars, the Automated Troop Transports were shipped off to several planets, where they worked as cargo transporters.
