Description
The main character in the story, Jack's best friend and the leader of the rebel group.

Kuro was separated from his parents as a very young pup in a snow storm, and once the storm settled he wandered in the woods searching for his family, only to get his leg caught in a trap. The little pup howled from pain, and was fortunately found by Jack. The wolfdog pup quickly fetched his owner, who got the wolf pup out of the trap, took him home and treated the wound on his leg. Since he had no parents or a pack, Jack's owner decided to keep him, and the two became the best of friends. However when they had both grown into adults, Kuro felt like it was time for him to go back to the wild - since he was, after all, a wolf, and not a house pet. So, he and Jack said their goodbyes, promising they'd see each other again one day, and Kuro went on his way. During his travels he came across a valley, and found out that it was being terrorized by a very large and mean wolf who was keeping the valley and it's residents in his cruel grip. Disgusted, Kuro started gathering followers and formed a small rebel group, in order to take down the tyrant. He also ran into Jack again by mere coincidence, who insisted on helping his friend in his quest for justice. And that's when their biggest adventure began...
