I can not be the only one who thought of this. To me the new movie Monster in Paris looks really good and i want to see it but when i saw the trailer and i turned to my sister and said "This is Phantom of the Opera". I mean it's both in Pairs, the leading lady is a singer, both Phantom and Francoeur wear masks to hide their true selves and sing with the leading lady, the other part of the love triangle is named Raul! I like this AMIP Raoul better than POTO Raoul, and my Phangirl heart loves Erik, Francoeur, Christine and Lucille to pieces. However, FxL seems a little more fun, and kid accessible, than ExC. Sorry Erik, but your vintage of romance is a little too strong for younger romance addicts; however, thanks to Francoeur, more Phans will be prepared to love you and accept you when they get older.

Hehe, it's hard not to make the comparison. But I think Monster in Paris will have enough to differentiate it. Mostly Francoeur seems a lot more upbeat than the Phantom, and from the trailers and posters it looks like he has a better shot at getting the girl, too.
