I suggest you work on some comedy antics and then share them with your community and interact with the kids and parents! Do a couple of fundraisers or festivals - Those look like very fun and approachable fursuits. Serious kid magnets. Two of you being all fun and animated like this picture suggests would be a hit.

Post your experience when you are done! I am mostly interested in hearing how your performance went over with the general public. My interest in fursuiting isn't necessarily in entertaining other suiters or even in the making of videos, but in rather adding whimsicality and fun to places around the community. If you do something that works great or you find some place where it doesn't work so great, those are the types of stories I like to hear about. Tycho hasn't tried the bowling thing yet. Perhaps when I am done reworking the costume with this winter's modifications, Perhaps then I'll give it a go sometime.

I totally get you on it being about interacting with the general public more than it is about interacting with other furries-- when people ask me "what is this?" I prefer to talk about how I'm "like a clown or any other performer, just hairier and the hugs are free" and avoid even mentioning the word "furry" because it has some negative connotations to people who don't know all that much about us (I've had people come up to me and just announce "I've seen that CSI episode". Oh, err... that's nice, I guess?)
I have a friend I usually go with ([link] ) and he's a really super partner! I'm happy to have him with me since he's a great performer and I hope we can rope in Scar later too-- he just got his costume so we haven't had a chance to invite him with us yet :3
