Side note. Blackheart has scuffled with the likes of Spawn, Hellboy, The Darkness (Jackie Estacado), Witchblade and even Ichigo Kurosaki, but in regards to the likes of Spawn, their fight wound up being crashed before a fight to the death could occur however Blackheart has noted that Spawn could also kill him if he's not careful. Overall though, Blackheart learned his lesson when fighting The Doom Slayer in why even his father Mephisto fears him and he also learned why The Sparda family is so powerful thanks to his run in and death at the hands of Dante.

Oh and for those wondering about his regeneration, each time he's died in the comics, he's been reborn in hell/Mephisto's realm. He is seemingly immortal because of this. However in his fight with Doom Slayer, Blackheart was stabbed multiple times by his Crucible Blade which drained him of much of his power and given Doom Slayer's uncanny ability to slay pretty much anything and everything that is even slightly demonic also plays apart in this. Blackheart knows that if they were to fight again, it would be his last.
