It is worth nothing that Duon is made of Shadow Bugs, the weird things farmed from inside Mr. Game & Watch's body. Is he unique for being the only Shadow Bug creature to reform? He is certainly one of the more advanced compared to the mindless automatons like the doppelgangers and Primids.
