Kinda thinking they find him buried in the snow in Iceland after one of them picks up a very weak signal coming from his antenna, having frozen before fully rebuilding himself, they take him back to HQ afterwards and after he's thawed they discover he's very much alive. More ways than one.
He ends up joining them.
