Thanks to a fellow deviant this idea came to mind, two badass game characters and their ladies prepared to take on what is most likely a horde of demons.
Dante and Ryu Hayabusa, their lovely angels Trish, Lady, Momiji & Rachel. Guess this could be considered a double date. XD
Sure as hell don't wanna mess with these 6 unless you have a death wish.
Also I should mention that I do infact ship Dante with both Trish and Lady as well as Ryu with Momiji and Rachel. Who knows you might see these pairings in my fanfics. Keep in mind though I ship Dante and Ryu with their Ladies, not with each other. XP Hate Yaoi sooooo much.
Can I also point out something funny, Trish and Rachel are both Blondes and Momiji and Lady have black hair...Coincidence much? XD

Whoever he or she was that helped you inspire this crossover is one cool person. S/he has my gratitude. This definitely pleases me as to whom you enjoy seeing Dante and Ryu Hayabusa respectively with. Neither guy should have to settle with only one woman when they can have them both.
There are a number of other noteworthy similarities between them. I will list a few:
Rachel and Trish are demonic although Rachel is half human due to her blood. Both nonetheless prefer to stay within their human forms.
Momiji is the only playable Ninja Gaiden character to date that can double jump; Lady needs to use her rocket launcher in order to double jump.
Lady and Momiji lost a family member that causes them to go on the path they are on.
Momiji is the Hayabusa Shrine Maiden; Lady is a descendant of the priestess whom Sparda sacrificed to seal off Temen Ni Gru.
I see that Momiji forgot to bring her trusty Heavenly Dragon Naginata, but I am sure that she has plenty of kunais on her. Ninjas never go anywhere without them.
This is easily one of your best crossover renders to date. Well done. Everybody is ready to slay some demons/fiends together as one team.

> Both start out as having a frosty relationship to the main hero before warming up to him.
> Both use guns.
> Both are the "odd ones out" in their respective series. Lady is the only playable DMC character that isn't a demon or half-demon while Rachel is the only playable NG character that isn't a ninja.
> Both were trying to kill a family member that was turned into a demon. The difference is Arkham became a demon of his own free will while Alma was transformed into one by Doku. Also, while Rachel is unable to kill her sister, Lady does kill her father.

I don't consider the modern Ninja Gaiden titles to be prequels. I view them more as a reboot or reimagining. Since Itagaki is no longer with Team Ninja or Tecmo Koei for that matter,what he may have envisioned no longer matters.
