Pyromane has one motto that he lives by. "If your not reducing Mavericks to burnt out husks then your not doing anything worthwhile!" He is happiest when hes reducing a enemy reploid or mechanaloid into molten slag. Possessing a fiery spirit and a desire to hunt down rogue reploids makes him a excellent Maverick Hunter. Of course he realizes that he cant be hunting Mavericks 24/7 no matter how much he would love to as other duties in Hunter HQ do take him out of the fight from time to time.

Of all the Maverick Hunters he is the least unnerved by the Hunters, Soulrazer and Dreadmane. The two Hunters feel a close bond to Pyromane that they pretty much consider him to be their adopted little brother. As such they are extremely protective of him. The three are often seen together both on duty and off and making the other Maverick Hunters nervous as all hell.

There have been times when Pyromane has become infected with the Maverick Virus but Dreadmane or Soulrazer have been able to purge the corruption from him. He is extremely dedicated to his "siblings" for what they have prevented him from becoming. It seems also that he has developed a immunity to the Virus as he has yet not had a relapse even when in proximity to highly virulent Virus carriers.

Pyromane of course has a penchant for setting things on fire, especially Mavericks. He has been reprimanded by both X and Signas and to a lesser extent Zero as well. Of course most people who berate him for his...talents, usually wind up staring into the very angry eyes of Dreadmane and Soulrazer and quickly back off. Pyromane knows of course that he cant be just setting everything on fire but he gets so caught up in his job that he has the occasional oversight. Who can really blame him though?
