Third of the adventurers captured by Necron and soul infused to a blue dragon egg
was Raigar. Before his transformation into the blue dragonspawn he was a paladin
named Torin in service to a just god named Abinsheer, a deity of Justice, Light and
Hope. Even he was unable to save the paladin from the fate that was in store for him.
Perhaps he forsook the paladin for an unknown slight, or maybe he was powerless
himself to intervene. Perhaps it was Torin's destiny all along...no one can or will say.

When Raigar emerged from his egg the air crackled with electricity and he erupted
from the egg as the blue dragonspawn emerged. Power filling his young eyes, it was
not long before remnants of his old personality were taking hold. He defended his
fellow dragonspawn if they were ever in trouble and encouraged his siblings in their
martial training. He swore an oath to defend his siblings to the death if need be but his
draconian heritage colored the rest of his actions. In the time that they served Necron
he would unleash untold devastation with his lightning powers. His sword crackled with
electricity as it cut down man, woman and child in service to his master.

Donning blackened armor and a spiked shield, he laid waste to his enemies while
making things easier for his siblings. His once holy powers were now turned around to
produce a blackguard of unholy might that cursed his enemies making them ripe for
the slaughter by him or his brethren. Nicknamed The Azure Doom, he and his brothers
would wreck havoc in Necron's name and subjugate all who stood before him in defeat
or kill those who dared lift a hand to them.

Until one night as his brothers stood before a city slated for destruction. Something
made him look more closely at the city until realization hit him, he recognized where he
was. The city was once his home, in fact it was home to not only him but two more of
his brothers in their past lives. While their leader, Nethric (featured later), delivered the
ultimatum to the city leaders, Raigar felt a twinge of memory. That twinge built into a
nagging bothersome thing until finally it reached a point that made the blue
dragonspawn reel in pain. Clutching his head he dropped to his knees, the memories
of Torin rushed back into him. Taken aback by his sudden wail, his siblings, concerned
as to what was happening to him, retreated a safe distance from the city to tend to
their brother.

Whatever it had been though was starting to affect the others, as they soon began to
feel the same twinge of latent memory deep within. Soon all but their leader were
experiencing the awakening of something deep within, suppressed, but now rushing
back with a vengeance. The dragonspawn remembered their past lives and were filled
with horror at all they had done.

**Raigar, soon after regaining his memories of his past life removed the black unholy armor he had worn for all his life and replaced it with something more befitting a true paladin. He no longer serves his former god, his oath however is the same as it always was. To protect and fight for his brothers as they mean everything to him. A Oath so strong it is ingrained into his very core. He also tries to do good when he is out for others though if he can as he deeply regrets everything he did while under Necron's control. A task his brethren do not begrudge him in the slightest. While he is now known as the Blue Protector to innocents, the moniker of the Azure Doom still applies to those who would seek to do harm to him, his brothers, and any person he has pledged to defend.**
