In like oooh... uhhh... i think the 50's or something... I don't know... I wasn't thought of yet. an insult of the time was to yell at someone "Drop Dead!" kinda like the (please do not quote me here: ) "F___ You!" of today.
So, instead, it's like that, but for drivers or anyone who sees it.... I guess.
