Description

Rexus or Rex as he's usually referred to as, is one of the numerous creatures called Shades that dwell in the twilit world of the Shadowian Lands. Shades feed on emotion by hunting the shadows of their victims. While their hunting doesn't cause any ill effect to the victim, it can cause mood instability if they overfeed. Shades are usually feral beasts that appear having canine, lupine, avian, feline, or chiropteran(batlike) traits. Shades cannot be seen in direct light, but are easily visible at night in the shadows of large objects. Shades can be used as transportation or bodyguards if the need arises, however, once bonded to a person, a Shade is loyal to the death. They will fight anything that attempts to harm their imprinted Master.

Note: Shades are androgynous in normal appearance, males and females are identical. The only time this is not the case is during breeding season.
