Description
The elders spoke often of the sacred ruins just east of your village and how it had once been home to one of the greatest shield maidens ever to live. But the area was fraught with danger and should be tread upon lightly. You scoffed at this. You were young and foolish and decided to explore the ancient ruins on your own...you were only ten.

You had only just arrived when you felt as if eyes were upon you. You couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watched yet the place was desolate and empty. Wait....what was that? It sounded like a voice...a whisper......"Turn back." Even as you tried to make sense of it a terrible storm arose. It raged with such fury, you felt the apocalypse was upon you. Scared, alone and nearly abandoning all hope you had resigned to the thought that your fate was now in the hands of the gods. But then. Then suddenly before you was an impressive figure extending her hand towards you. "Come, let me lead you to safety child"

She led you fearlessly as the torrents of rain relentlessly fell. And as quickly as the storm had come upon you...you were home. Your mother and father embraced you. You turned to introduce them to the redhaired warrior responsible for your safe return....but she is nowhere to be found....
