Hey hey, I've decided to make a small art project to compare some of my OCs who have changed their looks and appearances over the course of the time and for starters, I'm including three of grandpups - Allina, Tundra and Akiak.
You see, as I rebooted BIS over three years ago, this also meant that some characters needed different looks or weren't too appealing so I have figured out who, in my opinion, deserved better looks.
Allina - the younger daughter of Kodi and Dusty, who sadly happens to be the runt of the litter. Truth to be said, her looks to the right were something I always imagined from the beginning, but being unable to present the right colors at the time, she was usually seen with generic red and white combination. Honestly, looking at her old design, I'm not too happy with it because her old colors look too sugarcoated. Her current design is what I believe is more natural and fits her anyhow. Maroon red fur like her father's and her blue collar is in current version covered with smudges, indicating her master's greed.
Tundra - the eldest pup and the older daughter of Aleu and Kenai, who becomes an alpha of her clan. While she is meant to resemble her mother, I kinda grew tired of the idea that she'd literally be her spit image so I came up with the idea where she looks like her mother, but mixing her father's pine brown fur with her mother's sandy gray fur, she has a really pretty red hue that makes her a standout compared to her quarter wolf mother. Before it was pretty hard to imagine her and Aleu being different, other than different eye colors and Tundra's ears having the same color as her fur.
Akiak - the older son of Aleu and Kenai, who is a beta male of Tundra's clan. He is supposed to look like his father, but like with Tundra, I didn't like the idea that he's literally his father's clone with only different eye color. Instead, he has a brighter brown fur and brighter gray underbelly thanks to his mother's sandy gray fur that gives him a significantly reddish hue. This was it'd be quite easy to differ him from his father. Like how it was with Tundra, trying to differ Aki with Kenai was nearly impossible, but nowadays that's not an issue.
I will be making parts two and three of these comparisons, maybe more will come, but this is good for now.
