Why didn't you tell me
you had met someone new?
That I was no longer wanted
or of any use.

How could you think
that I would not understand?
After hours and months
of holding your hand.

When did you know
my love was a threat?
After you killed me
did you have some regret?

Do you still think about me
of what we once were?
Or have you purged your mind
into one big blur?

Unanswered questions
have a crippling effect.
You've completely moved on
but I haven't yet.

this is great. i absolutely LOVE that stanza. I've been there on both sides and i would rather stay away from both. Love Sucks but your expressions are amazing.

Aww, I;m in the other boat I think, even tho I never went off with someone I've properly broken 2 peoples hearts but this is a really good poem, you express your feelings well. n its good to see you back

Losing a love to another hurts. But always keep in mind that she is lucky and if you really love her you don't wanna see anything else than seeing her happy.
