When you're the younger sister to the woman who married the King of the Inhumans, then guess what? You're a princess now! Awesome. And so it was for young Crystalia Amaquelin.⁣

Crystal, once exposed to Terrigenesis (the special procedure the Inhumabs use to gain their super abilities), gained power over the elements. Meaning the classic "ye olde" definition of "elements"...namely earth, wind, fire, and water. Not, like, the periodic table. Which would be weirder, but cooler.⁣

Crystal, when still a teenager, was exiled from the Inhuman city Attilan with the rest of the Royal Family. During this time, she met and fell in love with Johnny Storm, the Human Torch of the Fantastic Four. It was either that or the Human Water, the Human Dirt, or the Human Wind, but luckily for Johnny, none of those people existed.⁣

Later, Crystal actually joined the FF, replacing Sue Richards when she was on maternity leave. But all good things must end, and eventually, she found her way back to Attilan and later into the arms of Pietro Maximoff, the mutant Quicksilver. Even though Pietro is a huge dickhead, Crystal fell on love with him, and they were we'd not long after. Eventually giving birth to a daughter, Luna, who was named after the Inhumans new home: the Moon (good thing they hadn't just moved to Rhode Island).⁣

But like all good things must end, so, too, must forced and problematic plots. She and Pietro didn't last. Crystal eventually made he way back to Earth and joined the Avengers for some reason.⁣
