Description
So here we are: the East Coast branch of the Avengers is disbanded. Steve Rogers, currently going by the moniker "The Captain" as opposed to his usual "Captain AMERICA," responds to an automated distress signal only to find Avengers HQ empty.
The robotic Jocasta, thought to be destroyed, has called for help because goons working for The High Evolutionary rebuilt her to gain information on the team. Other reserve Avengers show up to help Cap and he throws a temporary team together out of who turns up. Hey, you work with what ya got.
One such soul is The Hulk. He's been gone from the team a very long time and has gone through a LOT of changes on that time. Currently he is grey instead of green, not as stupid as usual, and he is SUPER CRANKY. Thought to be dead, he was hiding out in Las Vegas under the guise of casino legbreaker, Joe Fixit.
He didn't want to come, but he had just run across Hank McCoy, the Beast, on another adventure. Beast promised to keep his secret IF he came and helped on this mission. So, like, I guess heroes use blackmail? Cool.
Anyway, here's Hulk.
