St. Patrick chased the snakes from Ireland, but for St. Paddy's Day I guess they ended up here...this week Vector Vengers brings you a group of slithery snake-themed Captain America villains: The Serpent Society!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

The Serpent Society is basically a trade union for super villains...but specifically super villains that dress up and name themselves after snakes. Which weirdly there are A LOT of in the Marvel Universe.

Zelda Dubois was a snake charmer in a circus before she turned to a life of crime...still in a circus! As a member of the Circus of Crime (why would anyone go to see that show?) Zelda bred and trained massive pythons (up to 25 ft) to do snake crimes! That is, crimes as snakes against people...not crimes against snakes...whatever, you get me.⁣

Anyway, as Princess Python, even without powers, just being a creepy snake lady enabled her to go up against heroes like Spider-Man and Iron Man. ⁣

She joined the Serpent Society, because being named Princess Python you'd kind have to, right? Well, on their first big gig, she chickened out and went AWOL. Sidewinder tracked her down and used some wacky machine to wipe her memory, so she couldn't tattle on the team. Serpent Society don't mess around.⁣
