It is based off the M577 APC as seen in the movie “Aliens”. The chassis is made of bonded titanium and incorporates a 5 cm foam-packed floor cavity to protect against forged-fragment mines. Because of weight restrictions, the armor protection is very light. It is capable of defeating fragmentation, small arm rounds and low-velocity armor penetrating ammunition such as rifle grenades; however, it’s ability to stop dedicated tank-killing weaponry is slight. The M578 series are more along the lines of drop capable Fast Attack Vehicles. The M642 series are the heavier armored vehicles.

Think you'll ever do more Aliens stuff? I am sort of curious to see the tanks and more vehicles.
