Had the day off due to bad weather (again) and so I spent my day drawing this.

Have I mentioned how super excited I am for this movie? No? Well, I'm now I am. When news for the movie came out, I honestly couldn't care less. I didn't follow the comics and I didn't really know who 'Captain Marvel' was, so I didn't really care. I wasn't super into MCU back then, but even when I did get into it, I wasn't itching to see it or anything. But then the trailers and clips began to come out...And I got HOOKED. I absolutely freaking LOVE Carol from what I've seen so far!!! I'm so curious learn about her backstory and her powers and I just love how sassy and chill she is. Not to mention, Goose, the cat (or should I say, "cat", given recent speculation), is utterly adorable and don't even get me started on young Nick Fury. He is definitely one of my favourite characters and I am so pumped to see more of him, especially get some backstory for him. You bet your ass I'm gonna be heading to the theater opening weekend next week to see this movie and I CANNOT WAIT!!!! I really hope it's good, and so far reviews from critics seem positive.

Now, on to the actual drawing. I've been wanting to draw these two together for weeks. Just never really got around to it. Carol was super fun to draw. As much as I love her full-on, superhero outfit, I really wanted to draw her in her casual clothes or disguise (not sure which it's gonna be). Fury gave me some trouble, but I like how he turned out. Goose was hard to draw since it's been so long since I've drawn a cat and just getting the anatomy and the head-shape right was exhausting, but I love how she turned out. And it's not like I could have just not included her. I mean, come on, she's too cute to leave out! That and the idea of Fury constantly toting around this adorable cat throughout their entire mission is just too good to resist. Either way, they look like they're about to kick some serious Skrull ass. Especially Carol. For the background, I just did a quick desert background since I saw a lot of that in the trailers and clips and it seemed to fit.

Not sure what's gonna be next....I really want to do another doodle dump like this one . Or just anything with the SHIELD gang really. I just really want to draw them again....But we'll just have to see.
