Description
So knowing when to say its "finished" can be tough... part of me wants to keep painting- get it all glossy an shiny, but the other part loves the rough dirtiness of this too. So here is Scabs, in my sketchbook for years, and now come to life at last... Hope you like/fear him as much as I do

Brrrr... That is one creepy clown.
I have never liked clowns, never trusted them, there is just something really creepy/weird about someone wearing all that junk and trying to be funny.

I have brooded over this many a dark hour until now. That clown has haunted me. He has been an inspiration to my poetry and a nightmare for me. The depth of the darkness in that particular piece of work is frightening. You are a wondrous artist even for just this one work. Scabs has been adopted by the darker side of my soul as a brother. I leave you now hoping that I have spent enough time pondering him to have come to understanding of the darker things he represents to me....

This is eerie but the quality of it just makes it so outstanding. It seems like something from a dream, because the background is an undefined blur of colour... I love it.
