Plagiarism...It is a big word for me to comprehen.
I saw Hotel Transylvania yesterday and I loved it. I was such a cute film, which tops my fav film for the month.
Now involving the similarities with Marceline and Mavis, there isn't that much nor is it any obvious...basicly, whats written are doodles. But hey, It's Samuel here we're talking about, when have I ever been serious?

There's nothing in the movie that proves that so we can't tell, and I said freezing powers not mind powers. Something like a stasis field which Mavis's father Dracula has.
We know from Mavis's father, Dracula, that vampire bats in the HT universe can catch up to passenger planes which travels about 655 MPH. Mavis shouldn't be much slower than that.
We're never shown how fast Marcelline is in her bat form so we can't tell her speed, but the fact that she's larger means gravity will work against her more. The large wings would help, but I don't think she's faster than an HT vampire bat's top speed. I've AT is a show that I keep up with that's how I'd know.

Marceline is no ordinary vampire; she's half-demon, probably dwarfs Dracula in power by quite a bit. If she got into a fight with his daughter, she'd win with little effort.

O'Rly? Marcie had quite a hard time fighting Finn the human in episode 6, while in her bat form. Mavis isn't even a fighter so there's no doubt Marcelline would win in a straight up brawl, but Mavis possesses unique abilities that she fails to demonstrate in HT that her father has. This could mean victory for Mavis IMO. Mavy just needs to be trained to use her powers. Marcie is much older by 900 years (even though Mavis was born over a century before Marcie).
Marcelline was born just before the 3rd world war (aka mushroom war) while Mavis was born in 1895 (19 years before 1st world war).

Extremely well done and very in character. To be honest, I've not seen the movie, yet I probably won't due to looking very... run of the mill, if you will. Maybe when it's in rental stores, yet only for the alledgedly awesome supporting cast... and Gennedy.

Production on Hotel Transylvania started in 2006.
Adventure Time's run began in 2010.
Not sure how serious this is intended to be, but yeah. Mavis is more like a darker version of Ilana Lunis combined with a kid-friendly version of Shilo Wallace . Then again, if you made Shilo an angry vampire, she'd probably be a lot like Marceline...THIS IS MAKING MY HEAD HURT OH GOD
Regardless of the ideas inherent, I love this! And a meeting between the two would be quite something, hahaha.

I mean, when I watched the trailors for that movie, I DID think of Marcy, thinking, "Wooow, how original."
