I don't know if they did, I was saying Jean's has a long list of love interest over the years and Ice man's history as a player. So I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Yeah, they ruined Iceman by making him gay! He's always been a ladies' man and Marvel butchered the poor guy! That's why I don't buy comic books anymore! I ain't got nothin' again the LGBTQ community but I like Iceman the way he was!

I haven't bought anything from modern Marvel when they started to have this PC over good stories mindset.
Oh fun fact one issue of X-men Ice man asked Jean "Maybe I'm bisexual."
Jean was like "No I think you just gay."
So a lot of true fans including myself are starting to think Jean mindmessed with him. Another crappy thing to come out of this is Iceman's father who recently came to accept his son as a mutant, now hates him for being. So yeah there goes that character growth.
