Alright folks, here we go with a new cover of mine. This time it's my first crossover between the original Yu-Gi-Oh and Capcom's own Blue Bomber, Mega Man.

Here is how the story works. It's set in an alternate universe where all the events of the anime and the manga happened differently and Joey will not be speaking with his Brooklyn accent. I know some of you like it when he uses it, I'm taking a step in a different direction, but his nickname will stay, ‘Da Brooklyn Rage’, I mainly heard that as a parody song of Lady GaGa’s Poker Face.

Yugi Moto and his friends are having a normal day in Domino City and they soon find that something catastrophic is about to happen. A renegade scientist named Dr. Aldritch Wilyman has gone mad and has exploited Maximilian Pegasus into making robots based on some of the Duel Monsters he created and Aldritch wants to punish the world for ignoring him throughout his youth and all the denying the respect he felt he deserved, and he steals technology from Kaiba Corp. as a basis for his robots and he had taken the whole world, prompting Yugi, Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, Téa Gardner, Mokuba Kaiba, Duke Devlin, Serenity Wheeler, and Rebecca Hawkins to leave Domino City behind as Prof. Hawkins and Solomon Moto help out a resistance group against Wilyman's robo guardsmen, Dueldrones.

They find shelter in a place that looked like an old nuclear bomb shelter and it was actually the laboratory of a man named Prof. Nicholas Hikari, who guides them through the fortress, however he's a hologram, the real version of him died, so all that's left is his brain inside a computer. They find a chamber where they see the professor's son, Rock Hikaru, who had remodeled him as a cyborg and frozen in a cryogenic tube, sleeping. The Dueldrones find where they're hiding at and the holographic professor shows them to his weapons cage and they fight back against them, but some of them would not stay down.

As they fought against the Dueldrones, Rock begins to thaw out of the cryo tube and slowly wakes up to find that the laboratory is under attack by the Dueldrones, Prof. Hikari tells his son that the Project PAL4D1N armor is ready to be tested for battle. He zooms out to the battlefield and just when Yugi and the others were about to be killed, Rock arrives and calls himself MegaMan Paladin and he begins fighting off the Dueldrones one by one by one until one of their big guy's shows up and Rock brings it down, vowing to stop Dr. Wilyman, take back the world and get vengeance and justice for the murder of his father.

They managed to get a hold of Seto Kaiba, who had been fighting to survive and Mokuba is worried about his brother. However, Mokuba's sister-in-law, Kisara, is helping him out using her Blue-Eyes armor. They also find a way to get Mai Valentine over to where they're at and after she arrives, the gang find that she brought Mako Tsunami and Vivian Wong, who had all decided to take refuge while Marik, Ishizu and Odion help the resistance group with Prof. Hawkins. Can this band of Duelists and this cyborg defeat Wilyman before the Earth is forever doomed?

I drew how Yugi and the others look in the style of this Gacha pic, My Take on the YGO DM cast . Kudos to Towers-of-Obscure for making that pic so awesome. Though for Téa, I once again put her in her Duelist Kingdom outfit because she makes that look good. As for Rock/MegaMan Paladin's appearance, I was inspired by this; SaviorKing Knights Ref Sheet , which was made by FooRay. The logo is a rework of the Starforce Mega Man logo with the word Paladin underneath it.
