She's a very cuddly girl and always got real lazy around midday when it was hot, so cute! I was actually not far from her when I took the shot, she was born in captivity so wont be released so it was my job (among other less interesting chores!) to help look after her whilst I was in Africa. It's a shame she's unable to go into the wild but she's helping raise money and awareness for cheetah protection projects and when she's older she'll be introduced to a conservation type reserve where they hope to breed from her; hopefully those cubs will then get the chance to go to a real reserve because they'll have far less human handling than Navy did

That is SO NOT "less interesting"!! Working in some place like that is one of my
dream jobs (as well as volunteering for Red Cross, missionary, veterinarian, etc. haha!) I like taking care of animals, or just watching them! I don't know, it just feels so...great when you're with them. AND a cheetah cub! That's so cool!

Hehe no, being out there was amazing but picking up after all the dogs was a bit less interesting! Made me feel like I was at home again XD I know exactly what you mean though, I really loved working with them and hope to go back soon if I don't find another project I want to do. Would be lovely to go back and see all the animals again but there are so many other places I want to travel to so I haven't decided where I'm going next yet
