This is just a random picture I felt like doing. I know I still owe people art but I wanted to do a picture for my self with one of my character's for a change.This picture is based on the song 'Soung the Bugle now' from Dreamworks 'Spirit'. To some this picture won't match the lyrics but this is what went through my mind when I listened to it.
Hope you like it, the background was a real challenge.

Oooo I like the rain.
the snow on the left (the hill part) could use a little shading (like in a light blue?) so it doesn't lose that side of the picture.... oh, and the dog (wolf?)'s front leg is a little wonky, but other than that, I like it.
It's a great idea.

Nothing wrong with doing art for yourself. 
My only critique is that Echo would look like she's actually laying on the ground if she had a shadow. I know it's difficult to decide where/how big to make it since there isn't really a clear light source, but even just a bit of a shadow under her would work. You've grown much better with faces/heads, they have some real character and emotion, and you did great with Echo's legs. Keep up the good work!

Hmmm, the shading is smooth, which is good, but I think there needs to still be some darker shading, especially where there is less light (under Echo's belly for example). It adds more depth. Think about adding "sweet spots" too (highlight spots). Placing them correctly will make your characters and objects look more 3d. That doesn't really work on Echo, though, since she's white in color.
