***You have to click in the flash window once before the controls will work!***This game has no purpose. I just wanted to experiment with the Edward game engine for flash. It's really simple too, I can play the whole thing in about 15 seconds. I'll probably move it to scraps later.
Controls:
right arrow=move right
left arrow=move left
space=jump
The code is not mine. I edited it, but only slightly.
I got the kitty sprite from the program TuxPaint.

I really like the little cat sprite. I think if you spent some time on the art, got a nice background, good story, and in-depth characters, you would be REALLY good at making flash games!

I could help you try to get it to work, but you'll have to be more specific about the problem because currently I have no idea why it won't work.

Try refreshing the page. Also try waiting a bit for it to load, because until it's loaded, it will just be a white screen. If that doesn't work, then... I don't know. It might be a problem with Flash Player, because it works fine for me.

Nope. You "win" if the screen pops up that explains why there's no replay button. You have to get across the water. (If you can't figure out how, you can ask me...)

Um... your computer isn't being stupid. You have to land on an invisible block right next to the water and then walk across the water. If you just try to land in the water, you die.

no i mean my computer is being stupid,some pop up came up and said somthing about format, then the cat would start jumping into the lava at the beginning. :<

Its good to see you are getting along with edward, as for your button problem, in as3 code can only be applied to the timeline, not right onto objects like you can in as2. if you use a mouse event listener on the timeline it should be fine
