Killer, I like the concept. Abarren looks really cool if I do say so myself, while Babs does look like a baby Absol, you pulled off Babs' look perfectly, as you did with Abarren's.

No prob, I personally have always liked Absol, and I honestly wish they could make it evolve, and your concept seems to represent exactly what it would look like.

I've always liked Absols as well. I actually have two boxes full of level 1 Absols and un-hatched eggs in my Diamond version. o.o;
Hopefully they'll make an evo for it - one that brings up its sadly lacking speed stat. *nodnod*

But yeah, that speed stat is actually a surprising low, I thought Absol would be a fast pokemon, but it wasn't, so I was taken a bit off guard when it was one upped.

I really like your idea. If I were to draw Babs it'd be a little more chibi-ish and look more "weak" I guess the term would be. Like stubby legs, little tail, etc. But on the other hand I really like both Babs and Abarren. Nice style too.

Babs isn't all that great- I think it should just be excluded. A good idea to have a pre-ev for Absol, but that one just doesn't work out.
Abarren, however, is good! A very nice concept.

I made Babs more for the awesomeness of the name than anything. And besides, it'll never be in the game anyway. And personally I think it works fine, so whatever.
